Who are we?

The Windmill Club & Drop-in Centre exists to support and encourage adults (over eighteen) with mental health problems who are among the most excluded groups in society. There is no racial, age, religious or gender discrimination and no charges of any kind. People are welcome to Drop-In and many members attend regularly every week. We run a free mini-bus and a car service for those who have problems of mobility. On average 25 people attend every week.

Voluntary

The Centre is run entirely by Volunteers and relies upon public support and grants from various bodies to continue the work it has been doing for 30 years. It is an independent organisation but works closely with, and is affiliated to, several local and national organisations. This ensures that it is flexible to local needs but keeps in touch and learns from recent developments and initiatives.
